New
One Piece Salon Door
to replace the old
NJ-Transit Bi-Fold Doors
|
With the Private Motor Coach Do it yourself industry
showing a great
interest in having
MCI single salon doors installed to replace
the Bi-Fold Doors from
the NJ Transit buses.
|
We have decided to build an exclusive new
salon door design.
It is a perfect clone to the original quality
stainless steel door
offered by MCI at 1/3 the cost. at this time our prices are about
$3,900. for a new door compare that to $7,000 from MCI
|
|
We are now working on a
stainless steel frame that will be covered with an outer cover and an inner
cover fiber glassed together to make a solid 2" solid sandwich with a stainless
inner frame . it will be a new door with flat skins but yet will be designed to
handle a standard RV door lock.
|
|
If you want a Mirror polished
ribbed skin that's easy too, it will take both ..
|
|
These are
images of one of our MCI -9 BI- Fold Doors converted to the single Sedan
door frame . This is showing the door without the inside and outside
skins.
|
We felt these close up Images would be a great way to show the quality of
MCI's all Stainless Steel Sedan Doors .
|
|
New doors solid stainless steel construction
Our Door is a duplicate of the engineering quality MCI is known
for.

We install our exclusive
BusConversion101.com custom fit
aluminum side window blank out
panels to fit bus chassis such as the MCI 9 bus
and the MCI 102 bus.
Here it show's we take a 45-50 foot piece of aluminum and
rivet it to the inside frame,
and will later grind and smooth it to perfection.
Each picture details a different phase
of the project. Notice the heavy grade
construction, the smooth rivetless lines through
out the side of the Motor
Coach bus chassis. Of coarse to complete this process the
MCI 9, MCI 102, MCI
E4500 or any of the many chassis we manufacture,
the roof is raised at least 8
inches. The images below are of the famous MCI 9 bus
chassis that went into
service in 2004 as a full executive motor coach.
